''Painting is easy when you don't know how, but very difficult when you do''

Thoughts & Reflections

A short featured testimonial from one of Andi's collectors...

My first piece from Andi was in 2011 of my Border Collie.   Since then I have commissioned Andi to paint six more pieces and have yet to be disappointed. The way Andi captures the emotion and personal element of what he is painting, is exceptional.

He is now working on our 7th piece and I’m looking forward to the next reveal - David M

  • My name is Martyn and I’m the proud owner of The Park and The Cafe paintings from Andi. There’s something quite special about these series of paintings. Whether it’s the message or the amount of things going on within the scene or the shapes you get from the chimneys and clouds, there’s always something different to look at. I love this series of paintings and am looking forward to adding to my collection - Martyn D
  • I received a painting of my horse by Andi several years ago. It still looks as fresh as it did the day I got it. His blend of colours just works and resulted in capturing the essence of my boy just perfectly. Very happy with my piece and would definitely recommend Andi - Lyn W
  • I have known Andi for the past five years and have been privileged to see some of his outstanding achievements from amazing animal portraits to more modern and extremely topical environmental pieces. Andi painted for me my favourite of all Highland cattle and Claude now resides in my kitchen, he is truly fabulous. I know he is extending his portfolio and I wish him every success. I know you will not be disappointed with any work Andi undertakes - Pam L
  • I commissioned Andi to create a pencil picture of some foxes as a present for my Mother, she has 2 that visit her garden regularly. Without any photo's Andi understood the brief and encapsulated the foxes beautifully. The service was fantastic, it was quick and came framed in time for Christmas. The picture is treasured by my Mother so thank you for creating a unique piece of work that will stay in the family for years to come - Steve B
  • I cannot rate Andi more highly as an artist. His professionalism, versatility and attention to detail is exceptional. He puts his heart and soul into every piece of work and it shows. Working primarily in oils, he produces classic pieces of portraiture that capture the essence and life of the subject, both human and animal, with a particular talent for horses.   On the other hand, in a time when we are becoming more aware of climate change and environmental issues, Andi's Marvin's World Series is original, vibrant, quirky and modern and so very current. It is refreshing that his work in this series tackles a serious subject that invites one to contemplate along with him, whilst simultaneously offering a touch of humour that would brighten any location - Carol H
  • I received a painting of my beloved Border Collie as a surprise Christmas present from my partner. I was absolutely overwhelmed at the incredible likeness and detail. Andi really captured her perfectly. I honestly think it’s my favourite Christmas present that I’ve ever received. I would highly recommend Andi to anyone, you will be more than impressed! Marie B
